XD I found a bunch of made-up Cybertronian books in a draft headcanons post for TFP Optimus that I made a while ago
some of them look like books I want to read :V
“Miscellaneous Morsels from Thetacon (Sweeper) – a collection of myths, short stories, historical articles, contemporary news and sociological discussion gathered from the author’s twelve-vorn stay in the Thetacon area. Historically significant, written circa. Early Second Generation.”
“Beata Gens (unknown) – A series of novels released on the Iaconian regional datanet by an anonymous author, historical fiction speculating on the lives and loves of the late Dynastic Court on the eve of the passage into the First Generation. Hugely popular among the general populace despite being denounced as heresy by the leaders of many sects within the Imperial Orthodox broadstream.”
“The Book of Rest: Analysis With Respect to the Occasion of The Cataclysm (Sunbrand of the House of Gathered Swords) – A historical analysis of the writing of the Book of Rest, one of the five pillar components of the Mythos within the Imperial and Oriens Orthodox broadstreams of the Mythos, taking into account many sociological and historical aspects of the First-Generation society which produced it.”

False firewall programs, entirely separate from actual security, for those who get off on the idea of their partner overpowering their systems but don’t want to actually risk getting viruses.
Socket adapters for interfacing multiple partners at once.
Switchboards with different voltage and current for electroplay.
Adapters that magnify, reduce, distort, delay the signals from your partner.
Programming data chips with specific sensations, emotions, thoughts, etc and sending them to your long distance partners so you can essentially interface them from across the galaxy.
Sets of magnets placed on key locations of the sensornet to disrupt and alter electronic signals, induce temporary paralysis, produce pleasurable hallucinations.
Devices that generate small electromagnetic fields swept over bodies, numbing and restoring sensornet functions.
External harddrives filled with various programs and data packets that essentially work like interactive sex dolls, artificial partners. They come in many varieties for specific kinks: dominant type, submissive type, sensual type, rough type, bondage type, cross faction type. Harddrives patterned off of pornstars or what they think famous cybertronians would be like in the berth.
Programs that simulate “heats” for those that get off on the idea of being overwhelmingly desperate for interface.
Data chips that suppress overload, programs that aid multiple overloads.
Rounded finger caps for cybertronians with claws who want to avoid scratching their partners, sharpened caps for those without claws who want to scratch and be scratched, vibrating varieties of both.
Sensory deprivation programs that allow bots to offline auditory, visual, tactile sensors.
Sound generators producing auditory signals that increase arousal.
You know how TF fanfics set on Cybertron often mention ‘crystals’?
I was watching TV, and a thing came on talking about these. (first four images relevant.) And suddenly I have all the ideas for Cybertronian geology. 8D

and i mean of course you have things like bismuth but like. wow.
Also this song is just generally sung well with lots of emotion and is quite anti-corporation / big business, and pro-rebellion so yeah it’s his theme song imo.
It’s all about burning down corporations and high class lmaoo and the voice fits him. I linked it at a specific part that’s Very Him so feel free to listen to the entire thing obvs.
The High Council in Animated is made up of representatives from each of the guilds that govern civilian life on Cybertron. Perceptor is head of the science guild, Cliffjumper is head of the intelligence guild (taking the place of Longarm after he got outed as Shockwave), and other known guilds include transportation, entertainment, maintenance, and commerce; we don’t know who their heads are, but we do know Botanica is also on the council. Alpha Trion is the collective head of all these “domestic” guilds, and the acting Magnus serves as council chairman. The council is in charge of the military – not the other way ‘round, despite what Sentinel Prime would like!
This is the only continuity that this particular form of government has been seen in. Animated is a rather unique case, of course, since it represents a post-war Cybertron where the Autobots comfortably and safely rule the planet, and society ISN’T dominated by the need to fight Decepticons.
