So I had vague thoughts of maybe trying to sketch something to get myself back in the creative zone, and then I accidentally drew my first serious picture in ages? On the off-chance you haven’t seen it already, you really, really should go check out @mllemusketeer‘s amazing fic, The Brave Shall Heed The Call.

I enjoy reading this thing so much, but one aspect of the story that always really stays with me is one, the side characters, and two, the side character shipping. All the ships that come up in this thing, oh my goodness, so good (special shout-out to everything to do with strika). I loved Slipstream from the moment she showed up, and every scene she had with Windblade was so precious it made me melt. It took me a silly-long time to realize that Slipstream is decepticon-large, and if we assumed that Windblade was around the size of Prowl… that is some choice height difference. I’ve been meaning to draw this picture for ages and ages, so it’s really exciting to finally get it done!
