Whoa, I wasn’t expecting so many people to like that AU post! I’ll admit I mostly thought it up for the fluff/humor, but I also got to thinking about how drastically the events in the show would change if it were to happen. For starters, I think I was wrong when I assumed Megatron would get his body back sooner; in fact, without Sari or the ‘Cons coming into contact with the AllSpark, he’d actually wake up a lot later than he did! With all that extra time on their hands, the other Decepticons would likely have way more time to grow close to Sari (which is a good thing, since they’d probably take a lot longer to warm up to her)- and establish Decepticon presence on Earth, to boot.
I’ve attempted to sort out how things would fall into place in this AU’s timeline, mostly based around Sari’s age. Without the key, she’d have the chance to grow up a little more naturally. I’ll put it under the cut, since it gets kinda long.
A TFA AU that starts at the end of season 3 where Optimus’ team goes back to Cybertron for good to help with the reconstruction of their government and leave Sari on Earth where she then gets the Autobot B-Team back together to protect Detroit.
They suck majorly at first, and no one respects or even likes them because they’ll “Never Be Optimus’ Team”..but over time they go through actual training and character development and eventually they bond together to become a real team, learning to care about one another as they slowly but surely turn into an intelligent, formidable, and capable band of heroes and finally gain enough respect to go from B-Team to A-Team
