A completely normal late-night excursion to a refinery on the Planet Junk goes belly-up when Jetfire and Jetstorm are kidnapped by the barbaric Junkions! Will they make it out alive? Why does everyone on this planet act like a maniac? Does Sentinel Magnus even care if the blunder twins get stuck in the garbage forever? After all, you know what they say: an Autobot’s Trash is a Junkion’s Treasure!
One of the things that’s a real shame about the end of the IDW continuity is that this is such an intriguing take on the Junkions and yet we barely got to dig into them.
I made a very important reference image for a very important incoming character for my TFA Fan comic!
This is Rum-Maj, the leader of the Junkions, born without forearms. Her special power is the ability to connect to metal around her and form it into new limbs, usually just regular hands, but she can turn them into tentacles or other things as well. It drains her energy a lot, she has to put a lot of effort into remembering how to move a finger and such. She wouldn’t have the best pen-bot-ship, but she can definitely kick ass in a fight.
I wound up choosing completely different colors based on all of the palettes I made up last time for TFA Rum-Maj. I’m hoping to paint this one at some point but for now please enjoy.
Her power is the ability to absorb any metal around her into her body and rearrange it into a shape she needs like a hand or a whip or a giant axe or whatever. Kinda like Green Lantern except she was born without forearms so it takes a lot of energy. When she’s on her own she doesn’t bother with hands and just does everything with her feet like a showoff ballerina or gymnast

I like how Rum-Maj has a weird way of speaking like Wreck-Gar, but unlike Wreck-Gar’s jolly babbling, her speech pattern is just oddly off and vaguely unsettling, like the uncanny valley of speech.
