Sari flies over to Trypticon in the middle of the lake every other weekend to spend two days learning how to shoot things and look impressive while lounging on the throne. Megatron has no idea what to do with her so he accidentally becomes the Fun Mom by virtue of letting her do whatever she wants.

Alternately, seeing as Isaac has always been pretty lackadaisical about keeping boundaries for Sari and kinda just lets her roam free for the most part, Isaac is the Relaxed Dad and Sari thinks she can get away with that with Megatron but nnnnOPE. Megatron is Military Mom and Sari has to get up at the right time and immediately start doing training regimens and he goes over her homework and test results and feeds her the cybertronian equivalent of vegetables and tries to get her to behave even slightly dignified.

Listen, Sari is very mistaken when she thinks spending time with the Decepticons is gonna be great and wild when Megatron wakes her up at 5AM and starts timing her while she runs laps and then he takes her to the edge of Trypticon and repeatedly throws her off, into the lake, until she figures out how to fly.

What are the roles of the other Decepticons in this
Shockwave is her unofficial doctor and teacher, mostly because nobody else understands a goddamn thing about her biology and until they can find Blackarachnia and steal some info about technoorganics from her? They’re…kinda SOL on how to actually deal with her, but he works on that. Megatron does have to put the kibosh on some lesson plans though because Sari is still a bit immature to be learning how to like…interrogate prisoners or produce chemical weapons. Shockwave also have a very strict homework regiment that Megatron ensures gets done and Sari whines about it. A lot.
Blitzwing is a training partner/drill sergeant who chases her around when she’s not doing laps fast enough and Random thinks it’s hilarious when they spar and she hits him so hard she falls down because she’s tiny. But he’s also good at finding entertainment for her and helps teaching her how to fly, because he’s also not exactly a graceful or particularly air-friendly flier, due to also being a tank.
Lugnut is a very large squeaky teddy bear who does whatever she needs because she’s a tiny part of Megatron and thus; worthy of his affection. Also she finds out she can just fall asleep on him at any given time and he’ll carry her around, so it’s very relaxing. Downside: He’s TERRIBLE at hide and seek.
Starscream’s clones who hang out because of course they do generally regard her as a minor pest or a threat, save for Slipstream, who goes between sly insults and flattery to ensure that Sari sees her as an equal at the very least, just in case Sari is someday in charge and she needs that little extra edge. Plus, Sari is sassy enough that Slipstream feels she can shoot shit with her without getting into trouble.
Blackarachnia doesn’t like Sari, not that she doesn’t find Sari interesting or kinda charming in her bossy way, but Sari is a techno-organic without suffering the same problems and fear that Blackarachnia has endured, so it’s…entirely righteous, fair bitterness.
IDK i’m just making it up as I go but there’s some thoughts!
Whoa, I wasn’t expecting so many people to like that AU post! I’ll admit I mostly thought it up for the fluff/humor, but I also got to thinking about how drastically the events in the show would change if it were to happen. For starters, I think I was wrong when I assumed Megatron would get his body back sooner; in fact, without Sari or the ‘Cons coming into contact with the AllSpark, he’d actually wake up a lot later than he did! With all that extra time on their hands, the other Decepticons would likely have way more time to grow close to Sari (which is a good thing, since they’d probably take a lot longer to warm up to her)- and establish Decepticon presence on Earth, to boot.
I’ve attempted to sort out how things would fall into place in this AU’s timeline, mostly based around Sari’s age. Without the key, she’d have the chance to grow up a little more naturally. I’ll put it under the cut, since it gets kinda long.
