Pacific Rim/Transformers crossover where the humans are harvesting the corpses of dead TFs to build jaegers (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Okay but are the humans deciding to do this themselves or is Swindle  entrepreneuring again?

I was originally thinking more along the lines of Bayverse-esque where the humans are actively trying to capture, kill and convert Transformers for their war

And wouldn’t that creep the living TFs out something awful. Worse, ever since the humans acquired Starscream’s dead shell, the Jaegers all start to malfunction one after another. It seems to be an electronic glitch, but the Jaeger suffering the malfunction shows a sudden sharp increase in power without increased input from its core. Partners locked in the drift will black out, but base reports they start to speak in sync with a scratchy, angry voice as they proceed to beat the tar out of the kaiju. The partners so possessed tend to dream for weeks afterward of open skies and vast, starry nights that stretch far beyond Earth.

I’M GONNA PROVE THAT CYBERTRONIANS ARE CLOSER TO PLANTS IN ANATOMY THAN MECHANICS AND ELECTRONICS AND I’LL FUCKING PROVE IT USING BITS OF CANON

SO FAR FUNGI ARE DOING BETTER THAN PLANTS IN BEING CYBERTRONIAN LIKE

– complex cell structures while still having a cell wall rather than just a membrane (my main argument for cybertronians being non-animal organics; their metal is extremely hard cell wall structures)

– can reproduce both sexually and asexually; in Marvel they’ve shown to reproduce via budding

– grows well in damp acidic areas; cybertron has acidic rain and in uh… some continuities cybertron just doesn’t have a sun anymore

– We don’t know what Primus is in the continuities he’s cybertron itself, energon could be a waste product that the cybertronians can live mostly off of, 

BLEASE google “dimorphic fungi” because i feel like it will make your day + help your theory to know that there are types of fungi that can totally change forms (cough… transform)

like there are plenty of species that turn from a mold/hyphal form into a yeast form. sometimes they change based on temperature, environment, other physiological stuff… sometimes we just dont know…

fungi are so cool and i support this “transformers as fungi” theory

I love plants and animals and all sorts of life and fungi isn’t something I know a TON about compared to, say, my general knowledge on bugs, so this is really useful thank you 😀
