WHIRL IS DONE (99%)!!! The last 1% are some last bit details that might not travel well and some cloth bits that I haven’t had time to do today (one of which is the anchor for the ankle covers so that they don’t twist like in the third pic). Those bits will be hot glued at the hotel on Thursday/Friday. Since it was still 80 degrees outside when these pics were taken I didn’t wear the body suit.
Whirl will be making his debut at TFCON TORONTO 2017 and will be my entry for the costume contest. The contest will be the only time he will be out since stilts + crowds = bad combination. However, I noticed that there is a cosplay panel on Sunday and if it’s ok with the hosts of said panel I may bring Whirl to that as well.
