Okay, but just imagine how interesting all the dynamics in TFA would be if Optimus’s punishment had included empurata. I might have to write fic about this at some point, because seriously, I can’t stop thinking about how this would shade into his interactions with the entire rest of the cast. But for the moment, consider him seeing what happened to Elita and feeling guilty over feeling bad for himself when she has it so much worse. And imagine her seeing what happened to him, and feeling a little bad, but being angry that she feels bad for him, because just look what happened to her.
