He chose to die at home, far away from the all the medics and the nurses and the machinery that had kept him alive all these last stellar cycles. His frame was old now and his Spark was fading with age. It was the natural course of life, he made no effort to fight it. There was nothing else to be done now.

Autumn had been bittersweet for him, but Winter had been worth living for. They had lived a happy life together, he had enjoyed a full life indeed. Only Blurr had been allowed to wait by his side as the solar cycle drew to a close.

He passed away with the setting of the last sun.
