I have been asked about this multiple times and finally had the time to make a tutorial for it! I really hope this helps, if anyone has any further questions, please feel free to ask!

Please keep it in mind: This is how I personally like to work and it’s in no way supposed to be a “THIS IS HOW YOU HAVE TO DO IT” thing. There’s other ways to do this, other mindsets to go about this depending on your art style etc. You do your artwork the way you want, it’s your picture and you get to decide what it’s gonna look like! This is just how it works for me.

So yeah, this is how I like to do lighting and glow effects 😀 Go and try it out if you like! I hope this is somewhat comprehensible!
